Reproduction steps:
1. Create a new project
2. Double-click to open “1_Decal Material Volume” Shader Graph Importer in Project window (Packages > Shader Graph > GraphTemplates > Cross Pipeline > 1_Decal Material Volume)
3. Observe the Console
Actual result: “Assertion failed
UnityEditor.GUIView:ProcessEvent (UnityEngine.EntityId,intptr,bool&)” error is thrown
Expected result: No errors or warnings are thrown
Reproducible with: 6000.6.0a5
Not reproducible with: 6000.3.15f1, 6000.4.7f1, 6000.5.0b8, 6000.6.0a4
Couldn’t reproduce with: 6000.0.75f1 (No “1_Decal Material Volume” Shader Graph Importer)
Reproduced on: Windows 11
Not reproduced with: macOS Tahoe 26.4 (M4), Ubuntu 24.04
Notes:
- Issue is not reproducible with other Shader Graph Importers
- Issue is no longer reproducible on the original machine after ~1 day. However, the issue remains reproducible on other Windows 11 machines
