MissingReferenceException is thrown when destroying UI button that is overlapping other UI elements

Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached “IN-84901.zip” project
2. Open the “SampleScene”
3. Enter the Play mode
4. Click on the button in the Game view
5. Observe the Console

Expected result: No errors appear in the Console
Actual result: “MissingReferenceException: The object of type 'GameObject' has been destroyed but you are still trying to access it.” exceptions are spammed in the Console

Reproducible with: 1.11.0 (2021.3.44f1, 2022.3.48f1, 6000.0.21f1)
Not reproducible with: 1.10.0 (2021.3.44f1, 2022.3.48f1, 6000.0.21f1)

Reproducible on: Windows 11
Not reproducible on: no other environment tested
