How to reproduce:
- Open the attached project “IN-138403”
- Open the “Test” Scene
- In the Hierarchy, select the “Cube” GameObject
- In the Tool Handle Rotation dropdown, select “Grid”
- In the Scene View, switch the Active Context from Game Object to ProBuilder
- Select a face on the Cube
- Move the face using the gizmo in the Scene View
- Observe the “Cube” GameObject in the Scene View
Actual result: The face movement starts speeding up exponentially
Expected result: The face movement follows the mouse input without speeding up
Reproducible with: 6.0.7 (6000.4.0a3), 6.0.9 (6000.4.0a3, 6000.4.1f1, 6000.5.0b2, 6000.6.0a2)
Could not test with: 6.0.6 (6000.4.0a3) (Error CS1061), 6.0.9 (6000.0.72f1, 6000.3.12f1, 6000.4.0a2) ("Grid" option is not available in the Tool Handle Rotation)
Reproducible on: Windows 11
Not reproducible on: No other environments tested
Notes:
- Issue can be reproduced in ProBuilder Active Context by using the “Tools/Toggle Pivot Orientation” shortcut to switch to “Grid/Element”
- While in ProBuilder Active Context, switching to “Element” from the Pivot Orientation dropdown prevents this issue from occurring
- Issue occurs with all ProBuilder selection types when changing position, rotation or scale using the gizmos
