Steps to reproduce:
- Create a new HDRP Project.
- Go to Package Manager > High Definition RP > Samples and import Water Samples.
- Open one of the Water Samples scenes. i.e. Glacier.
- In the samples showcase tab, there is a warning box saying the following settings are required. Click any of these buttons.
Actual results: Project Settings window opens, no setting is highlighted, a warning is displayed in console.
Expected results: No warning, the corresponding setting is highlighted.
Reproducible with versions: Ubuntu 20.04 - HDRP 17.0.3 (6000.0.0f1)
Not reproducible with versions: Windows 11, MacOS - HDRP 17.0.3 (6000.0.0f1)
Can’t test with versions: HDRP 14.0.11 (2022.3.26f1), HDRP 12.1.14 (2021.3.37f1) - no water sample available
Tested on (OS): Ubuntu 20.04, Windows 11, MacOS 12.7
Notes:
- This seems to be platform specific issue. Reproduces on Ubuntu but not on Windows or Mac, with the same package and editor version.
- The required settings recognise when they have been enabled if you manually find the settings.
