Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached “IN-110061.zip” project
2. Open the “SampleScene”
3. Make sure in the Player settings, Vulkan Graphics API is selected
4. Build and Run the Project (File > Build and Run)
5. Once built, move the Player to the primary display (if you have multiple)
6. Completely cover the Player with another application window
7. Move the other application out and observe the Player
Expected result: The Player is not frozen
Actual result: The Player is frozen
Reproducible with: 2023.3.0b1, 6000.0.54f1, 6000.1.13f1, 6000.2.0b12, 6000.3.0a3
Couldn’t test with: 2023.1.0a1-2023.3.0a2 (Errors when building or inconsistent results)
Reproducible on: Windows 11
Not reproducible on: No other environment tested
Notes:
Does not reproduce if a secondary display is used for reproduction
Does not reproduce with DirectX Graphics API
Reproduces if VSync Count in Project Settings > Quality is set to “Every V Blank” or “Every Second V Blank”
For the issue to reproduce 'Run In Background” must also be enabled in Project Settings > Player > Resolution and Presentation
