There are a number of reasons we make this decision, including the impact and severity of the issue across our user and customer base, and the possibility that future plans may solve the problem in a different way, or that a workaround for the bug may be available. Steps to reproduce:

Create a new Unity project
Open the "Create new Shader Graph Asset" window (Console window > right click > Create > Shader Graph > From Template...)
Select any template and click the "Create" button
Select a newly created shader graph item in the "Project" window
Go to the "Inspector" window and check "Use As Template"
Expand the "Template" section
Enter the template name and save the changes
Open the "Create new Shader Graph Asset" window again
Select the newly created template and observe its thumbnail

Actual results: Thumbnail appears blurry and pixelated

Expected results: The default Shader Graph template icon should appear sharp, clear, and properly rendered

Reproducible with versions: 6000.5.0a5

Not reproducible with versions: 6000.5.0a4

Tested on (OS): macOS - Tahoe 26.2
