Reproduction steps:
1. Create a new project
2. Make sure Use new Hierarchy Window option is enabled (Unity > Settings… > General)
3. Install Entities package
4. Create Sub Scene in the Hierarchy (New Sub Scene > Empty Scene)
5. Select New Sub Scene GameObject
6. Change Hierarchy Color in the Inspector
7. Observe the Sub Scene in the Hierarchy

Actual result: Sub Scene color is not displayed
Expected result: Sub Scene color is visible

Reproducible with: 6000.3.3f1, 6000.4.0b3, 6000.5.0a4
Couldn’t reproduce with: 6000.0.65f1 (No new Hierarchy window)

Reproduced on: macOS Tahoe 26.1 (M4), Windows 11
