The issue seems to be resolved for me, macOS 14.6.1, M1 Macbook. Chrome (with Metal WebGL enabled) runs at 144 fps on my monitor, and Safari runs at 60 fps (Safari will always clamp FPS to 60 fps).
Cancelling this 2023.2 tech release issue since the support for this release has come to end of life. Cancelling this 2023.2 port case does not affect any LTS or Unity 6 Beta/Preview that remain open.
2022.1 has end-of-lifed, and is no longer taking fixes. Canceling port.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open the “IN-23449” project
2. Build And Run in WebGL (Safari browser)
Expected result: FPS is around 60
Actual result: FPS is around 30
