Scene view turns black when using a custom Mesh Renderer

How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached “mesh-project“
2. Open the “OutdoorsScene“ Scene
3. Enter Play Mode
4. Open the Scene view window

Expected result: Scene view is normal
Actual result: Scene view is black

Reproducible with: 2021.3.26f1, 2022.3.0f1, 2023.1.0b19, 2023.2.0a17
Can’t test with: 2020.3.48f1 (Errors in the Console)

Reproduced on: macOS 13.0.1 (Intel)

Note: Scene view turns back to normal when disabling the “TempClothTest“ GameObject
