Ping/Highlight animation pauses playing when a GameObject was selected in the Search window and the Actions context menu is opened

Unity loses focus when OS menus are being displayed, which is the case of context menus as shown in this bug.
Steps to reproduce:
Create a new Unity project using the Universal 3D template
Open the Search window from the Hierarchy menu ("Open query in Search window" button)
Type "Directional" to see the "Directional Light" GameObject in the Search results
Click on the "Directional Light" GameObject in the Search results and right-click it while the Ping/Highlight animation is playing in the Hierarchy window
Observe the Hierarchy window
Actual results: The Ping/Highlight animation is paused/stuck and does not continue playing, after waiting a while if the context menu is closed, the ping/highlight animation disappears without the exit animation
Expected results: The Ping/Highlight animation is not paused
Reproducible with versions: 6000.0.64f1, 6000.2.15f1, 6000.3.1f1, 6000.4.0b1, 6000.5.0a3
Tested on (OS): MacOS M1 Silicon Tahoe 26.0.1
