Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached “IN-102830.zip” project
2. Open the “OutdoorsScene”
3. Open the Lighting Window (Window > Rendering > Lighting)
4. Click Generate Lighting
5. Observe the Scene view
Expected result: No weird black artifacts are visible
Actual result: Half of the Scene is rendered black
Reproducible with: 6000.0.50f1, 6000.1.5f1, 6000.2.0b3
Couldn’t test with: 2022.3.62f1 (APV not available)
Reproducible on: Windows 11
Not reproducible on: No other environment tested
Notes:
- The issue would sometimes reproduce on various other settings, but in this repro, the artifacts are only visible on the GameObjects that are marked as non-static
- Moving the Adaptive Probe Volume or the Cube and then baking the lighting, often gives a completely different result, but only seems to reproduce if the APV is set as Local
- Only reproduces if the Directional Light is set as Baked
- Reproduces in both HDRP and URP
