Thanks for reporting that. This is the intended behavior. Users should be able to use dynamic panels to customize their workflows. If they want to place Overlays that way to gain space they should be able to. The fact that overlays are resizable in these dynamic panels (by grabbing the bottom separation) can easily address that when needed.

Reproduction steps:
1. Create a new project
2. Add multiple Overlays to the Scene view
3. Dock all Overlays to the same dock area to the left or right of Scene view

Actual result: Content of some overlays becomes inaccessible
Expected result: All Overlay content remains accessible

Reproducible with: 6000.3.0f1, 6000.4.0a5, 6000.5.0a1
Couldn’t reproduce with: 2022.3.69f1, 6000.0.62f1, 6000.2.13f1 (side docking area doesn’t exist)

Reproduced on: macOS Tahoe 26.1 (M4)
