This 6.1 version of Unity is no longer being updated. This issue may be fixed in a future version.

A customer has ** pointed out ** that https://docs.unity3d.com/ScriptReference/IHVImageFormatImporter.html doesn't contain information about which DDS files are supported, and they have found that many DDS files are not supported.

They suggested improving the documentation to detail which files are supported and which are not{}
