Steps to reproduce:
- Create a new Unity project using the Universal 3D template
- Make sure Version Control is enabled in the customizable toolbar
- Click on the Version Control dropdown in the customizable toolbar and select "Use Unity Version Control..."
- Create a workspace
- Open the Project Settings window (Edit > Project Settings)
- Open the Unity Version Control Settings tab in the Project Settings window
- Disable VCS by clicking on the "Disable" button
- Observe the Version Control in the customizable toolbar
Actual results: No visual changes or any indication that VCS is disabled, Version Control is fully functional in the customizable toolbar even though VCS is disabled.
Expected results: Any visual change or indication that VCS is disabled
Reproducible with versions: 6000.3.0b7, 6000.4.0a3
Can’t test with versions: 6000.0.60f1, 6000.2.8f1 (Due to no customizable toolbar feature)
Tested on (OS): MacOS Silicon Sequoia 15.6.1
Notes:
- Before the Customizable toolbar Version Control, the Version Control button in the toolbar would change color from purple to no color when VCS is disabled in the Project Settings
