Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached “repro-project“
2. Observe the memory usage in Task Manager or Activity Monitor
Expected result: The project opens successfully
Actual result: Unity freezes, the project never opens and memory usage rapidly rises over time implying that there is a memory leak
Reproducible with: 2021.3.30f1, 2022.3.9f1, 2023.1.14f1, 2023.2.0b10, 2023.3.0a6
Reproduced on: Windows 10 Pro, macOS 13.4.2 (Intel)
Not reproducible on: No other environment tested
